Will Walmart Be Open on Thanksgiving Day? What You Need to Know, Below
Like any holiday, the actual day is very busy, especially if you have to thaw a turkey, prepare pies, and host your family all at once.
Therefore, it is inevitable that you may overlook one or more ingredients for one of the several side dishes you are preparing. The need for party activities to occupy children while parents prepare mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce may become apparent on the big day. Perhaps you need to spruce up your table with additional festive accessories. Or, worse yet, you neglected to pick up the main course: the turkey.
A unique time of year is Thanksgiving when family members come together to give thanks
All of these necessitate a brief visit to Walmart.
But it’s crucial to make sure Walmart is open on Thanksgiving before you bundle up and head out. To allow employees some time to unwind and recover before the chaos of Black Friday begins, many large retailers, like Target and Trader Joe’s, are choosing to close their doors on Thanksgiving. Speaking of Black Friday, Walmart has some amazing sales. Will they be closed on Thanksgiving to prepare, though? Find out by reading on.
What Time Does Walmart Open on Thanksgiving?
Walmart will regrettably be closed on Thanksgiving. On November 24, 2022, Thanksgiving Day, “all of our stores” (Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets) would be completed, a Walmart representative said.
Thanksgiving business hours are “a thing of the past,” according to Walmart U.S. CEO John Furner in an interview with Savannah Guthrie on TODAY.
That only means one thing: You’ll need to shop somewhere else for last-minute Thanksgiving Day necessities this year and every year after.
