The TikTok app now has a new text posting option. Where to find it?
Text postings are a new format that TikTok is experimenting with. Text posts will be the newest feature added to the popular video app TikTok, which is owned by parent company ByteDance. Other features are already available on it. Include live videos, photos, and duets, where other users can post their own videos side-by-side, and stitches. Here users can combine their videos with previously posted videos.
TikTok is joining other social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Threads, Instagram Stories, and Tumblr. It already has a text component as a standard feature by introducing a text post option.
As of Monday, the function can be used in the app.
According to a press release from TikTok. “With text posts, we’re expanding the parameters of content creation for everyone on TikTok. Giving the written creativity we’ve seen in comments, captions, and videos a dedicated space to shine.”
How to write a TikTok text post
To create a text post, you must first go to the camera page of the app, where you can choose between three options: photo, video, or text. You will then be taken to a page where you may write your text post from there.
You can add stickers, tags, hashtags, music, and places to text postings on TikTok, and you can even enable comments and duets, much as with its other features.
As Twitter begins its “X” redesign, TikTok text posts appear.
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, changed the platform’s logo over the weekend from its recognizable blue bird to a black-and-white “X.” This statement about TikTok coincides with that change.
Musk tweeted a number of times to announce the new logo.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” Musk wrote on Sunday on his Twitter account.
Musk’s announcement was supplemented by Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino, who tweeted that the renaming will change the “global town square.”
