Shaving cream and silly string are prohibited in Beverly Hills on Halloween night
In order to avoid Halloween pranks, silly string, shaving cream, and hair removal products are expressly prohibited in Beverly Hills for anybody under 21.
During their meeting on Tuesday, the Beverly Hills City Council unanimously approved a new ordinance. According to the Beverly Hill Police Department’s recommendation, the code forbids the ownership of prank items. The purpose of the ordinance is to guarantee a secure Halloween for locals, parents, and kids.
Beverly Hills – Every year, the restriction is in place
from 6 a.m. on October 31 to 6 a.m. on November 1. The BHPD will enforce this prohibition as part of its customary Halloween deployment. Depending on the particular circumstances and conditions of the breach, violations may be punished as misdemeanors, infractions, or civil administrative actions.
The Beverly Hill Police Department is taking the necessary steps to guarantee compliance with the new legislation, which all residents must abide by. In order to “educate” residents, trained city employees will be dispersed across the city. If required, tickets will also be issued.
