Its strong soy sauce flavour and hearty shoyu ramen ($15.48) are very appealing. The serving is quite large and is topped with bamboo shoots and soy sauce-marinated chashu pork.
Musubi Cafe Iyasume
Visit one of the three Waikiki Musubi Cafe Iyasume restaurants if you’re heading to the beach for a quick, portable dinner.
Onigiri, also known as musubi, are Japanese rice balls that are wrapped around various contents, including Spam (a favourite in Hawaii), cooked fish, prawn tempura, eggs, fried chicken and more.
